Minden Masonic Lodge #51 hosted its annual “Widows Night,” Tuesday. The evening began with a wonderful gumbo dinner served at 6 p.m. that was prepared by Mary Ann House. After the meal, Worshipful Master Jason Parker made welcoming remarks and introduced guest speaker, Pastor Ben Booth of Yellowpine Christian Church, who gave an inspirational word and message to all in attendance. WM Parker then made a heartfelt presentation of brooches and flowers to the widows in attendance, along with some eloquent words of comfort. The night was thoroughly enjoyed by all in attendance.
