Minden Medical Center has announced their reaccreditation as a Chest Pain Certified Hospital.
This accomplishment was achieved by taking part in the American College of Cardiology’s (ACC’s) nationwide quality improvement program designed to help facilities provide high quality patient care and improved outcomes for their heart patients.
The ACC’s new Quality Improvement for Institutions program gives facility personnel access to an array of tools and programs.
These resources help physicians, nurses, and other members of the cardiac care team make decisions with their patients that are based on best practices and the latest scientific research.
Minden Medical Center has participated for 4 years in the ACC’s National Cardiovascular Data Registry (NCDR), which gathers data and provides actionable performance feedback to physicians and facilities.
The new program takes this commitment to quality to the next level by ensuring Minden Medical Center’s cardiac care team has access to additional quality improvement initiatives and tools.
