Minden native and 22-year Army veteran appointed as executive director of The ASCEND Collective

The ASCEND Collective (TAC) is proud to announce the appointment of James M. McCabe, Jr., a native of Minden, Louisiana, as its new Executive Director. McCabe, a distinguished 22-year U.S. Army Military Intelligence Officer and a graduate of Centenary College of Louisiana, brings a wealth of leadership experience and a deep commitment to serving communities in need.

McCabe’s military career is marked by exceptional service and a dedication to protecting the nation. His experience in strategic leadership and operations within the Army will be instrumental in advancing TAC’s mission to empower diverse-ability individuals, veterans, and justice-impacted individuals through innovative employment solutions.

“As a proud native of Minden, it is an incredible honor to represent our community on the national stage,” McCabe said. “I’m thrilled to bring my experience and passion for service to The ASCEND Collective, an organization that is making a meaningful difference in the lives of so many. McCabe holds an MBA from Centenary College of Louisiana and has been recognized for his contributions to both military and civilian sectors.
