The City of Minden is inviting local ministers to a breakfast meeting Tuesday, August 19, at 7:30 AM to discuss issues facing the community.
The event will take place at the Minden Community House, 711 Gladney St., and will bring together city leaders and clergy to share perspectives and ideas for addressing challenges in Minden.
Organizers say the breakfast is intended as a forum for open dialogue aimed at developing collaborative solutions. “Some of the things that happen in our city are not the most comfortable or the prettiest things, but it’s good that we can come together and talk about it,” Mayor Nick Cox said at last year’s breakfast. “We’re working together to solve our problems. And that’s the kind of city we want to live in — a city where we can help one another.”
