Mayor Cox addresses technical issue affecting billing

Minden residents were recently informed of a delay in the mailing of utility bills due to a technical issue. Mayor Nick Cox assured the community that steps are being taken to promptly resolve the situation.

“We have taken immediate action to resolve this issue and have contacted the printer to expedite the printing process,” Cox stated. Utility bills are expected to be delivered by Wednesday, April 10.

To accommodate the delay, the due date for payments has been extended from April 10 to April 22. No penalties will be applied until April 23. Additionally, for those on automatic bank drafts, payments will be processed on April 22.

“We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by this delay,” Mayor Cox emphasized. Minden residents are encouraged to contact the utility office with any questions or concerns regarding their billing statements.
