Minden Medical Center’s Baby Place recently received the Above and Beyond award from The Gift. The Gift Above and Beyond Award recognizes a GIFT (Guided Infant Feeding Techniques) Designated facility each year that demonstrates a high level of breastfeeding promotion and support and also shows significant improvement in breastfeeding rates over time. MMC is proud to enhance their maternity care practices and receive recognition for efforts as they work toward achieving the Baby Friendly USA designation.
