Former Minden and Louisiana Tech star L’Jarius Sneed is returning to the Kansas City Chiefs, according to his agency Katz Brothers Sports.
According to Sneed’s Katz Brothers Sports agency, the cornerback is signing a one-year deal worth up to $5 million.
Sneed played for the Chiefs from his rookie year in 2020 until 2023. He helped them win two Super Bowls and reach another.
In late March of 2024, Sneed was traded to the Tennessee Titans for a 2025 third-round draft pick and a 2024 seventh-round pick.
He then signed a four-year, $76 million contract with the Titans with $61 million guaranteed, according to reports.
Because of injuries, he played in only five games in 2025 and seven last season.
The Titans waived Sneed in April.
