North Webster bridge to close for ten days

by Minden Press-Herald

On Monday, April 23, 2018, the LA 2–ALT bridge over Indian Creek, in Webster Parish, approximately 2.88 miles east of Shongaloo, will be closed to through traffic,” the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) said in a press release. The closure is for substructure bridge repairs, and will take approximately ten days.

This is a total road closure. All vehicles must detour using LA 159, LA 615 and LA 521.

“DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment,” the release said.

This work will be performed weather permitting.
