Q: What do you like about football?
A: It takes a man to come out and play this sport. You can do whatever you want out here if it’s within the rules.

Q: Who is your favorite athlete?
A: Ray Lewis. He’s an inspirational person and a man of God.

Q: What’s it like to anchor the offensive line?
A: I get to protect my guys and help my fellow athletes get stats on the board. Everybody is looking at the skill players and how well they do, but they don’t realize how good the lineman are.

Q: How do you get ready for a game?
A: I put my headphones in and listen to music, and I eat some skittles.

Q: Coach Santelices is your offensive line coach. What’s he like?
A: When you mess up he gets pretty mad, and can make you mad, but it just pushes me to go harder. He is a very active, hype coach.

Q: What do you do when you’re away from the football field?
A: Play Madden and hangout with my boys on the football team.
