Sue Ann Beatty, 68, of Minden, passed away on Monday, Oct. 26 at LSU Medical Center from a sudden illness. A life celebration will be held at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Minden on Sunday, Nov. 8 at 2 p.m. Cheerful dress is encouraged.
Sue was born in Minden and is a 1966 graduate of Minden High and was a member of the Louisi-Annes. She was a wonderful mother and military wife for 40 years. She recently worked as a care giver and volunteer with Webster Humane Association. She enjoyed her family, pets, gardening and had a deep love for her church family.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents Louise Jackson and JP Jackson of Minden. She is survived by her daughters Shannon Thornton, Deanne Beatty-Grider and son-in-law Tracy Grider of Linden, Texas. Sister Mme G. Harper of Haughton, grandchildren Cole Thornton of Sibley, Caitlin Grider, Drew and wife Brittany Grider of Linden, Texas, nieces Heather Ogea, Cassie Cole and grandnephew Dade Ogea of Shreveport and many very dear friends.
