Parish high school football teams will take preseason pop quizzes tonight as they participate in controlled scrimmages against other teams as kickoff for the 2022 season nears.
Minden will scrimmage vs. Benton at home at 6 p.m. tonight before the Crimson Tide takes part in the Pineland Jamboree at North Webster on Aug. 25.
The Tide will open the regular season at Parkway at 7 p.m. Sept. 1 in a Thursday night contest.
North Webster will host a home scrimmage vs. Mangham 7 p.m. today.
The Knights will also host the Pineland Jamboree on Aug. 25 before beginning regular season play at Haynesville on Sept. 2.
Lakeside will scrimmage at Lakeview tonight before playing in the Pineland Jamboree on Aug. 25 before opening the regular season at 7 p.m. Sept. 2 at Arcadia.
Glenbrook will scrimmage against North Caddo at Southwood at SHS in Shreveport tonight.
The Apaches will playing in Menard Jamboree at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 26 before kicking off the regular season vs. Cedar Creek at Independence Stadium in Shreveport at 3 p.m. Sept. 3 in “The Battle on the Border.”
