This weekend, the Piney Hills Louisiana Master Gardeners will be hosting their annual Trails & Trellises garden tour, offering an array of themes for attendees to enjoy. The event promises a blend of natural, educational, and beautiful gardens, inviting visitors to stroll, sit, and savor the surroundings. The tour is scheduled to take place from 9 AM until 3 PM, regardless of weather conditions. This year, all four featured gardens are conveniently located within the City of Minden.
The tour sites include the following:
- The Evelyn Dandridge garden, situated at 702 Elm Street.
- The David and Donna Scheerer garden and home, located at 706 Elm Street.
- The Charlotte Jones garden, nestled at 1300 Broadway.
- The Brenda Perryman garden, found at 118 Colony Lane.
Tickets for the tour are available for $10 in advance from any Master Gardener or by contacting the Webster Parish Extension Office at 371-1371. For those who prefer to purchase tickets on the day of the tour, they will be available at any garden on the tour for $12.
