Princeton woman arrested after high-speed chase

DIXIE INN — A high-speed chase out of Bossier Parish Monday ended on Hwy 371, landing a Princeton woman in jail.
The Webster Parish Sheriff’s office was dispatched to U.S. Hwy. 80 in Dixie Inn in reference to the Bossier Sheriff’s Office in pursuit of a white dually truck. A WPSO deputy joined the pursuit at the corner of U.S. Hwy 80 and U.S. Hwy 371.

Law enforcement observed a white truck being pursued by the BSO vehicles, running a red light, and heading north on U.S. Hwy. 371, according to booking reports.

The pursuit continued with WPSO, and Dixie Inn Police assisting, reaching speeds over 80 miles per hour.

Near Rice Road, the driver of the white truck allegedly jumped out of the moving vehicle and tried to escape on foot.

She was captured by Bossier Deputies and Dixie Inn Police on the scene.

The driver was identified as Janice R. Jordan of U.S. Hwy. 80 in Princeton. She was charged with aggravated flight from an officer and an active warranty for felony probation violation. She was transported to Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center, where she was booked.
