Regional Active Transportation Plan (RATP) for Bossier, Caddo, DeSoto, and Webster Parishes

The Northwest Louisiana Council of Governments (NLCOG), the local Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO), is submitting for a 14-day public review and comment the Northwest Louisiana Safe Streets and Roads for All Regional Safety Action Plan DRAFT (SS4A) for Bossier, Caddo, DeSoto, and Webster parishes. The SS4A outlines the commitment of the members of the NLCOG to roadway safety and its profound effect on our community. Fatal and serious injury crashes are preventable, and the Northwest Louisiana Council of Governments is committed to making transportation safer for residents and visitors. NLCOG aims to achieve zero traffic fatalities and serious injuries on Northwest Louisiana roadways by 2050, ensuring a safer transportation network for everyone. The SS4A Plan is a comprehensive safety action plan that identifies the most significant roadway safety concerns and recommended project and strategies to address roadway safety issues in Northwest Louisiana.
