Rev. Brian Mercer to speak at Lions weekly luncheon

The Rev. Brian Mercer, of First United Methodist Church, will speak at the Lions Club Thursday luncheon.

Rev. Mercer recently returned from a pilgrimage to the Holy Land with 36 others from the Minden area. He will share his experiences of journeying to the Holy Land over the past decade. All members of the Lions Club are encouraged to attend to hear his message of “Walking Where Jesus Walked.”

The Minden Lions Club meets Thursdays at noon at the American Legion Memorial Hall, located at 119 Pine St. in Minden.
