JACKSON, Miss. – Glenbrook sophomore Da’maza Robinson won the MAIS State Championship for the 400 meter run over the weekend.
Robinson ran his way to the title with a time of 52.16 and followed that race with a second place finish in the 200 meter run, clocking a time of 23.81. He just missed a third podium finish, as he finished fourth in the 100 meter run at 11.81
Glenbrook’s Amelia Christy also found her way onto the podium for the Lady Apaches in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:39.00.
Sixth grader Emma Pitman finished sixth in the 3200 meter run and seventh in the 1600 meter run. Christy just missed a second podium, as she finished fourth in the 1600 meter run with a time of 5:53.00
