Memorial services for Samuel Lee Hill, 71, of Minden will be held Oct. 27, 2016 from 5 until 7 p.m. at Holiday Inn Express in Minden. Samuel was born July 14, 1945 in Independence, Kansas and entered into rest Oct. 12, 2016 in Minden.

Samuel graduated from Harrisonville High School where he played sports, attended Iola Junior College and played basketball, and attended Independence Junior College. He was a plant manager at Ruskin Manufacturing for 28 years. Samuel loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter. He especially enjoyed hunting pheasants in central Kansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents Lester and Florence Hill and brother Thomas D. Hill.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Hill of Minden, son, Grady Hill and wife Jonnae of Lees Summit, Missouri, granddaughter Harper Grace and many other family and friends.

Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Program.
