Seeds Women’s Center is inviting community members interested in volunteering to attend its “Nacho Average Volunteer” event on Thursday, August 28, from 6 PM to 8 PM at its new location, 308 Pine Street.
The volunteer appreciation party offers a casual opportunity to meet the center’s current volunteer team, connect with board members, and learn more about how to get involved in supporting the nonprofit’s mission. Guests are encouraged to bring a friend and an appetite — tacos will be provided.
Seeds Women’s Center offers free pregnancy and family support services, including pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, parenting classes, and counseling. Volunteers assist with a range of activities, from client services to sorting donations in the baby boutique.
The event is open to anyone considering joining the volunteer team, as well as those simply curious about the center’s work in the community.
