Funeral services for Mrs. Sharon Bandy Smith, 63, will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 14, 2017, at the Bailey Funeral Home Chapelin Springhill with Mike Coyle officiating. Interment will follow in Springhill Cemetery in Springhill, under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2017, 5 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Smith was born on Sept. 29, 1954 to Ephram Hamp and Eva Mae Turgeon Bandy in Springhill and passed away on Sunday, Dec. 10, 2017 in Minden. She was a former resident of Sarepta and had lived in Minden for the past 10 years.

She was a homemaker and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, James Michael “Mike” Smith of Minden; two sons, Damian Miller of Sarepta, Erik Miller and Wendy Reed of Minden; daughter, Myranda Smith-Terry and J.D. Hall of Minden; granddaughter, Savannah Miller; grandson, Micah Lane Smith-Terry; two sisters, Deborah Dickson and husband, David of Lake Bistineau, Pat Carver and husband, Bill of Shongaloo; two brothers, James Bandy of Springhill, Mark Bandy of Shreveport; nephew, Jeramy Dickson; niece, Nicole Fish and other family.

Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her parents; nephews, Andrew Carver, Stephen Bandy and Stanley Bandy.

Pallbearers will be Josh Wheeler, Mark Fish, Barry Matlock, Grant Boyett, Mike Crabtree and Dale Smith.
