Benton-Minden is a hot ticket tonight in Webster Parish, but don’t let that fool you.

There are a number of other crucial games in the area.

The matchups are getting more intriguing as the teams continue to find their identities.

Let’s have a look at tonight’s games.

N. Webster @ Haughton, 5 p.m.

The Knights enter tonight’s game the number 12 team in 3-A, but the Buccaneers are a top-10 team in 5-A and are a storied program.

North Webster (16-11, 1-2) has been up and down this season, but are still in prime position to snag a home game in the first round of the playoffs and make a push.

They have talent all over the field, but it starts with catcher Kade Garmany, who is batting .400 this year with four home runs and 22 RBI to lead the Knights.

Haughton is the perfect place to watch high school baseball. If you are in the area, be sure to catch what is sure to be a quality contest.

Lakeside @ Calvary, 7 p.m.

The Warriors have won five-consecutive games and have finally found solid footing after a shaky start to the season.

The next three games against Calvary (19-8, 6-0) could have a huge impact on how the rest of the season shakes out.

Lakeside is tied with Calvary at 6-0 for the top spot in the district heading into this weekend’s series, making the matchup that much jucier.

CJ Watts has been on a tear for Lakeside, batting an even .500 this season.

Michael Watts and Nathan Willis are also batting over .400, giving the Warriors a potent middle of the lineup that strikes fear in most opponents.

Lakeside will have to keep it clean in the field if they want a chance at an upset.
