SPRINGHILL – The Springhill-North Webster Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors announced Ronda Taylor as the new chamber manager.

Taylor is a graduate of Cotton Valley High School and Louisiana Tech University. She recently retired after 33 years in the field of education.

Her sterling character, knowledge, self-motivation and desire to succeed will prove valuable assets in the office, the board said.

In addition to her classroom experiences, Taylor’s skills include time and money management, computers, grant writing, community relations, organizational abilities and much more. This diverse achiever has worked for the last 11 summers for the City of Springhill as a swimming instructor and pool manager.

Taylor will begin her duties as chamber manager and Official Louisiana Tourist Information Center representative on Monday, Dec. 21.

The board invites the public to come by the chamber office, located at 400 North Giles St., or call 318-539-4717, to congratulate and welcome her.
