The Springhill community is coming together to “Put the Spark Back in the Park” with a volunteer-driven painting event at the City Park Playground this Thursday, October 3rd, at 10:00 AM. The event, organized by the Springhill Main Street Program, aims to refresh and revitalize the park’s playground equipment, benches, and tables to create a more welcoming environment for families and visitors.
“Calling all community champions! We need your help to give the Springhill City Park a fresh, clean look,” said Amie Poladian, Springhill Main Street Director. “This event is more than just painting; it’s an opportunity to show our community spirit and make a visible difference for everyone to enjoy.”
Event Details:
- WHEN: Thursday, October 3rd
- TIME: 10:00 AM until the work is complete
- WHERE: Springhill City Park Playground
All painting supplies, including brushes, paint, and gloves, will be provided by the Springhill Main Street Program. Volunteers are encouraged to come prepared with comfortable clothes and a can-do attitude. This event is open to all ages, and no experience is necessary—just a desire to contribute to making our city an even better place to live and play!
The Springhill Main Street Program emphasizes that participation from community members is what makes initiatives like this successful. “Whether you’re able to join us for a couple of hours or stay for the whole day, your efforts will go a long way in boosting our community spirit and improving the appearance of our shared spaces,” Amie added.
Interested volunteers can sign up by commenting on the Springhill Main Street social media pages or simply show up ready to pitch in on Thursday morning. Together, we can make a difference!
