Jon Fowler, emergency department nurse manager talked about the signs and symptoms of a stroke. He says it’s important to remember FAST: Face, Arms, Speech and Time. Time is a critical factor, he says, as stroke victims have a three hour window in which to seek treatment before damage may become permanent.
