Shug’s will host “Sundae Funday” on Sunday, July 13, from 1 PM to 9 PM, to help raise funds for Minden’s 12U State Champion softball team as they prepare for the World Series.
The young athletes will be scooping ice cream throughout the day, with a portion of all sales going toward their travel and tournament expenses. Organizers are encouraging the public to come out, enjoy a cold treat, and show support for the team’s championship journey.
“Every cone counts,” said Mandi Hart, owner of Shug’s. “Come out, cool off, and support our girls as they chase another championship!”
