A memorial service celebrating the life of Susan A. Scoggins was held Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Minden, Louisiana with Bro. Steve Gilley officiating. The family received friends Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. until time of service at the church.
Susan was born September 22, 1946, in Minden, Louisiana and entered her heavenly home May 3, 2022, in Bossier City, Louisiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Weston and Nell Shadow, husband John Clay Scoggins, and son, Shawn Scoggins.
She is survived by her son John Weston Scoggins of Bossier City; brothers, Steve Shadow (Claire) of Parker, Colorado, and Larry Shadow (Janie) of Missoula, Montana and grandchildren, Emma and Stryder.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First Baptist Church Youth Camp Fund.
