SHREVEPORT – Susan Ann Cook Logan, age 71, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 16, 2021.  Susan was born on April 18, 1950, in Minden, Louisiana, and grew up in Heflin, Louisiana.

Susan graduated from Louisiana Tech University with Bachelor and Masters degrees in Education.  Susan married the love of her life, Bill Logan, on August 23, 1968, recently celebrating 53 years of marriage.  Susan taught in the Webster Parish and Caddo Parrish School Systems and ended her 33 year career as a Master Teacher.  After her retirement from teaching, she was co-owner of Lander Resources Inc. where, for the next 10 years, she enjoyed a new career as a Petroleum Landman and Title Analyst and a proud member of the ArkLaTex Association of Petroleum Landmen.    She was a member of Broadmoor United Methodist Church.

Susan wrung the most out of every day, living and loving life to the maximum!  She never simply entered a room, she took it by storm!  Her wonderful, loud, warm, infectious laugh could fill a room and, once heard, will never be forgotten.  She had a quirky, spontaneous, sideways sense of humor that brought joy to everyone around her.  Her adventurous spirit was always ready for the next great escapade!

Susan was always a lady.  She was a loyal and loving friend whose practical advice was always ready for friends in need.  Her friendships could form immediately and last a lifetime.  Vibrant and fun, organized and scattered, loved and loving, she was a spiritual, selfless loyal friend who always put others first.  She could never be forgotten, and will always be loved and truly missed by all who knew her!

She is preceded in death by her parents Laura and Bruce Cook.  She is survived by her loving husband Bill.  She is also survived by her brother Bobby Cook and wife Jane of Fairview, TX, brother Jackie Cook of Heflin, LA, sister Mary Singleton and husband John of Nashville, TN, brother-in-law Robert J.
