Funeral services for Susie Brantley will be held Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana with Rev. Ronnie Osborne officiating. Interment will follow at Brushwood Cemetery in Dubberly, Louisiana. The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. Monday, January 13, 2020 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden.
Susie was born June 13, 1939 in Stamps, Arkansas and entered into rest January 11, 2020 in Minden, Louisiana. Susie retired from Ruskin Manufacturing in 2000 after 20 years of service as a supervisor over painting.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lewis Harrison, mother Ever Marie Rushton Harrison, husband Delma L. Brantley, Sr., son, Ronnie D. Brantley, sister, Marie Downs, brothers, Irvin (Buddy) Harrison, David Harrison, Jimmy Harrison, and grandchildren, Kayla D. Brantley, Konnor and Lyrra Montoya.
She is survived by her daughter, Ronda Miller and husband Tony of Minden, son Steven L. Brantley and wife Deborah of Minden, and Delma (D.L.) Brantley, Jr., fourteen grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, and four great great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jerrimy Miller, Paul Davis, Christopher Montoya, Michael Langley, Cory Brantley, Trey Brantley, Christopher Brantley and Tyler Thornton.
The family extends special thanks to all the caregivers at Regional Hospice and Professional Home Health.
