Minden native and PGA professional Blake Thomas is set to host a three-day golf fundraiser, “Swing for a Cure,” benefiting the Minden St. Jude Auction.
The event will take place February 7-9, 2025, at Minden Presbyterian Church, located at 1001 Broadway Street in Minden. Thomas, who serves as the Director of Instruction at Monterey Peninsula Country Club, will offer private golf lessons for participants ages 8 and up.
Lesson rates are $75 for a half-hour session and $150 for a full hour. Proceeds will go directly to support the Minden St. Jude Auction, a longstanding local fundraiser benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
