Thursday fire damages home’s kitchen on Sugar Creek Loop

Webster Parish Fire District 10 and Minden fire fighters responded to a kitchen fire at the home of Butch and Carla Day, located at 365 Sugar Creek Loop Thursday morning. No visible flames were seen from the home, and firefighters say the blaze was believed to have originated in the kitchen above the oven. The kitchen was a total loss. No injuries were reported.
