Dixie Inn, LA – Tommie Sue Liles went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, July 16, 2021 from complications from COVID.  Visitation will be held Monday, July 19, 2021 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Roseneath Funeral Home in Minden. A graveside ceremony will be held at Gardens of Memory Cemetery on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Chet Johnson officiating. 

Sue Liles was born in Martin, LA to George Brown and Eunice Martin Brown on November 4, 1936.  Sue loved loved loved God and her family.  She worked at the LAAP and as a hair dresser for many years. She was also the pianist for 25+ years for Calvary Missionary Baptist Church and Eastside Missionary Baptist Church in Minden. 

Ms. Liles was preceded in death by her parents, husband Herbert Chester Liles, son Richard Allen Liles, son-in-law Daniel Roger Fory I, grandsons Jason Malcolm Fory and Daniel Roger Fory II, and brothers James Brown, Arthur Jackson Brown, and William Brown. 

Left to cherish her memory are her beloved daughters Debra Liles Fory and Donna Liles; granddaughter Katie Walz, great grandson Logan Steiner and great granddaughters Aria Walz and Avery Walz, and her loyal canine companion Coco. 

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers that you make a contribution to the Northwest Louisiana Suicide Prevention Coalition or to the charity of your choice.
