Sneed
A Minden man found himself under arrest after a Webster Parish Sheriff’s deputy stopped him for speeding.
Roger M. Sneed, 42, of the 700 block of Horton St., was arrested Friday, May 22, and charged with resisting an officer, speeding, driving under suspension and no insurance. Bond was set at $2,000.
According to reports, Deputy Coby Barton initiated a traffic stop on Highway 371 north on a vehicle that appeared to be speeding. Reports indicate Sneed told the deputy he left his driver’s license at home and could not provide a copy of his auto insurance.
When Barton ran a check on Sneed, dispatch informed him the suspect was driving under suspension and a warrant had been issued for that offense, reports indicate. Sneed was placed under arrest and transported to Bayou Dorcheat Correctional Center.
When they arrived at BDCC and the deputy was filling out the paperwork for booking, Sneed allegedly admitted to giving a false name, thereby garnering the resisting charge.

This don’t make no since to me, if he gave a fake name, how would he have warrants???? Maybe they need to go find the guys name he used?????
