Veterans and their loved ones are invited to a monthly Coffee with Veterans gathering Saturday, October 4, at 9:30 AM at Huffman Manor, 1114 Broadway St. in Minden.
The event, organized by the Webster Parish Veteran’s Safety Net, provides a time of fellowship and conversation for local veterans. The gathering takes place the first Saturday of every month.
“As a fellow veteran, I can tell you there’s something special about sitting down with others who’ve walked the same path,” said John Rodland, who hosts the event. “Our monthly Coffee with Veterans, hosted by the Webster Parish Veteran’s Safety Net, is just that — a time to relax, share stories, and enjoy good company. No agenda, no pressure, just community. We’d be honored to have you join us on the first Saturday of every month.”
Huffman Management donates the space for the monthly meetings.
“Huffman Management is honored to support Coffee with Vets and pleased that our management team takes such an active role in supporting our local veterans, giving them a safe space and a venue for fellowship,” said Jim Huffman, owner of Huffman Management.
The event is open to all veterans and their loved ones.
