Webster Parish Sheriff’s deputies are investigating an apparent exchange of gunfire Sunday night in the area of Eisenhower around the Penal Farm area.
Sheriff’s officials say they received reports of a black Honda and a white Acura occupied by black males shooting at each other.
Officials say it was reported one of the men fled the scene on foot.
One of the vehicles has been impounded, but no further details are being released at this time pending the investigation. No arrests have been made, Capt. Robbie Hayden said.
“One of the vehicles involved was totaled,” Hayden said. “I don’t know if they were shooting at each other or up in the air causing a disturbance.”
Investigating officers are Deputies Marshall Merritt, Joe Morgan and J.R. Lewis.
