The Webster Parish Fair began on Tuesday, October 1, with a parade in downtown Minden and the poultry and rabbit livestock show at the Webster Parish Fairgrounds.
Thursday, October 3, featured Senior Citizens Day at the Civic Center. The fair’s rides will open at 6 PM. for another “Armband Nite.” At 6 PM, the 4-H Goat, Lamb, and Beef Showmanship competitions will take place, followed by the 4-H Dairy and Doug Sale Showmanship Award at 7 PM.
Friday’s events will include the Buyer’s Luncheon at 11:30 AM, with the Livestock Auction beginning at 1 PM. in the 4-H Show Barn. Rides will open again at 6 PM.
The fair will conclude on Saturday, October 5, with Kids Day from 1 PM to 5 PM. A pizza eating contest, sponsored by Johnny’s Pizza, will be held at 2 PM.
