Barbara Lee and Savannah Jones

Library Director Savannah Jones expressed her gratitude and admiration, saying, “I think Barbara Lee has been a light for all of us at one point in our career. The library without Barbara will not be the same place. Today will be a day for smiles, tears, hugs, and laughter as we say farewell to a coworker who not only made great contributions to our system but also left her mark on all of us as individuals. As we reflect on Barbara Lee’s years of service, let us not forget to celebrate the beginning of a new chapter — her new chapter — filled with endless possibilities.”
