Webster Parish students converged at the Minden Civic Center Monday for the 8th annual Back to School Bash. Students were given chances to win door prizes, including bicycles and gift cards, and were given an opportunity to meet with representatives from their schools. Free school supplies were also given away to help students start the school year with what they need. Free haircuts were also given, and vendors were on hand to help parents and students with useful information. Representatives from the Webster Parish School Board were also on hand to inform parents of new policy changes and what to expect during the new school year.
