All public school teachers in Webster Parish convened at Minden High School on August 5 for a general session to commence the 2024-25 school year. The session featured a presentation by Superintendent Johnny Rowland, who expressed gratitude for the teachers’ impact on students’ lives.
“I appreciate you all and how much you mean to the lives of these kids,” Rowland said.
Following the session, teachers dispersed to various locations around Minden for two days of professional development. The school year for students will begin on Friday, August 9.
