Webster Students begin statewide testing today

Statewide testing begins today in Webster Parish Schools, according to a press release from the Webster Parish School Board.

The details of the tests and grade are as follows:

Spring Statewide testing for grades 5-8 LEAP will be a computer-based test. Testing will take approximately 2+ hours a day for up to nine days and can be given between April 9th-May 4th in the Webster Parish Schools. Each school and grade is testing on different days and times.

Spring Statewide testing for grades 3 and 4will take place April 30th-May 4th in the Webster Parish Schools. Anyone not presently enrolled that needs to test should contact the school or Mary Copeland at the Webster Parish School Board, 377-7052, before April 20th to make arrangements for testing.

Spring retesting of the Graduation Exit Exam for anyone that should have graduated 1991-2012 will take place May 21st-24th at the Webster Parish School Board. Testing is for anyone that has earned all graduation credits, but needs only to pass a part or parts of the GEE should , contact Mary Copeland at the Webster Parish School Board, 377-7052, before May 16th to make arrangements to test.

Spring retesting of the End of Course eeOC) Testsfor anyone that should have graduated 2013-2017 will take place April 23rd-May 18th at the Webster Parish High Schools. Testing is for anyone that has earned all graduation credits, but needs only to pass an EOC test.

Testers should contact the counselor at the high school they attended before April 17th to make arrangements to test.
