Organizers of the annual Witches Ride of Minden are seeking sponsors and retail vendors as preparations begin for the 2025 event, scheduled for Saturday, October 25.
Now in its third year, the Witches Ride is hosted by Pearls of Purpose, Inc. and is expected to draw a larger crowd than previous years, as the event falls on a weekend. The festive parade features participants dressed as witches traveling through downtown Minden on bicycles, golf carts, or on foot, followed by a Halloween-themed block party.

Vendors interested in participating are also encouraged to join. “If you want to be a part of this year’s Witches Ride, drop your e-mail in the comments! We would love to have you be a part of this year’s festivities,” organizers posted on Facebook.
In 2024, Pearls of Purpose partnered with the Webster Parish School Board and CASA to support local children with books, birthday parties, and Christmas gifts. This year’s event will continue to raise funds for charitable causes.
