SIBLEY – A Minden woman was arrested after she was asked several times to leave a residence in Sibley.

Dorothy Jane Morris, 32, of the 100 block of Loop Road, was arrested for remaining after forbidden, simple criminal damage to property and disturbing the peace.
Webster Parish Sheriff’s Deputies John Lewis Jr. and Marshall Merritt responded to a call at the 7000 block of Highway 371, where they were told Morris returned there and threw the complainant’s vacuum cleaner into the driveway, causing damage.
She then went onto the property without permission, according to reports, and began yelling and cursing at the complainant. Deputies say a witness heard Morris yelling and cursing at the complainant and was on the property without permission.
Morris and the complainant used to live at the Highway 371 address together, deputies said.
