The first Women’s Grace Conference at First Baptist Church Minden drew a strong turnout Saturday, September 27, bringing women from across the community together for worship, teaching, and fellowship.

The inaugural event featured keynote speaker Christine Gill, who led general sessions focused on faith and encouragement. Attendees also participated in breakout sessions covering topics such as navigating motherhood, waiting on God’s timing, finding hope in grief, and supporting women facing unplanned pregnancies or homelessness.

Local leaders guided the sessions, including Amber Bradford of Seeds Women’s Center, Pam Morrow of Embrace Grace, and Amy Barton of House of Grace NWLA. Other speakers included Jodi Tuttle, Robin Tucker, Becca Wilder, Lindsey Starkey, Breayn Hardy, and Roberta Kitchens.

In addition to the sessions, guests enjoyed shopping with local vendors and a catered lunch from On The Geaux Catering. Each registration included a t-shirt and gift bag.

Organizers said the event was designed to encourage and equip women of all ages through faith-centered teaching and fellowship. With the first year’s success, First Baptist Minden plans to continue the Women’s Grace Conference as an annual tradition.
