A Minden man was arrested following a disturbance on Evans Street involving a verbal altercation, according to the Minden Police Department.
Officers responded to the 600 block of Evans Street after reports of a fight with possible guns involved. Police said 28-year-old Parish Kimmons and another individual had been arguing over a Wi-Fi camera when officers arrived.
According to the report, Kimmons showed signs of intoxication, including a strong odor of alcohol and difficulty comprehending officers’ instructions. Police noted that Kimmons had been stopped about 15 minutes earlier during a traffic stop, where he was issued citations for open container and advised to go home due to his condition.
Kimmons was arrested and booked on a charge of disturbing the peace by intoxication.
All subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
