The 12th annual Rehab Reindeer Run hosted by Minden Medical Center Rehab Services is scheduled for 6 PM Friday, December 5, kicking off the 2025 Christmas in Minden weekend.
Participants will run or walk through the Ridgewood neighborhood at night, passing Christmas lights along the course. Runners may enter individually or as teams, and a prize will be awarded to the largest team.
Registration, available through race day, is $35. Student registration is $25. Timing services are included in the entry fee. Registration is available at the Minden Medical Center business office, Sportspectrum in Shreveport, or online at runsignup.com.
Packet pickup will be held from 8 AM–5 PM Thursday, December 4, at MMC Outpatient Therapy, 1120 Homer Road. Race-day pickup will run from 8 AM–5:30 PM Friday.
The course begins at MMC Outpatient Physical Therapy on Homer Road and continues through Southridge Drive and Ridgewood Circle before returning to the starting point.
Awards will be presented to the top male and female runners in the following age divisions: 12 and under, 13-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70+. Overall top male and female winners will also be recognized.
A post-race party will offer complimentary fruit, snacks, hot chocolate and awards. Food trucks will also be on site.
