Webster Parish burn ban lifted effective immediately

The burn ban previously in place for Webster Parish has been lifted, effective immediately, according to parish officials.

Webster Parish Police Jury President Jim Bonsall announced that, due to the recent rain,  conditions have improved enough to allow outdoor burning to resume.

With the order now lifted, residents may resume outdoor burning activities but are urged to use caution and follow all applicable safety guidelines.

Parish officials encourage residents to remain mindful of weather conditions and avoid burning during periods of high winds or dry conditions.
