High school softball: Glenbrook extends winning streak to 11; Doyline wins

The Glenbrook Lady Apaches and Doyline Lady Panthers picked up wins Monday.

Glenbrook extended its winning streak to 11 with a 14-0 victory over Loyola at Glenbrook. Doyline defeated Saline 8-2 at Saline.

Elsewhere, Lakeside fell to Haughton 11-6 at Haughton.

At Glenbrook, seven Lady Apaches combined for 12 hits in the five-inning game.

Hallie Sutton hit two home runs and had three RBI. Gabi Brown went 2-for-3 with a home run, double and two RBI. 

Gracie Heard had two doubles. Savannah Mangrum went 2-for-3 with two RBI. Anna Grace Vining went 2-for-2. Kynzie Smith had a triple and two RBI.

Sutton pitched a two-hitter with 13 strikeouts and no walks.

Glenbrook (19-3) hosts Winnfield Thursday at 5:30. Loyola fell to 9-6.

At Saline, Elizabeth Wright went 3-for-4. Karmadie Bartlett went 2-for-3 with a double. 

Raelyn Pease went 2-for-4 with a double. Kanyion Bartlett had a double and three RBI.

Sariyah Gill had a double and pitched a two-hitter.

Doyline (7-4) visits Providence Classical Academy Tuesday at 5. Saline dropped to 5-7.

At Haughton, Ella Wood went 2-for-3 with a double. Moose Jernigan went 2-for-3. Peyton Wood went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI.

Lakeside (14-8) visits Mansfield Tuesday at 5. Haughton improved to 13-13.
