The Brother’s Keepers Motorcycle Club 1st Shreveport Chapter will host the 24th Annual Burn Run on April 17 and 18 at Lake Bistineau State Park, raising funds for Camp I’m Still Me, a regional camp for child burn survivors.
The two-day event will begin at 5:00 PM on Friday, April 17, with “Crawfish Friday,” and continue through Saturday, April 18, concluding at 6:00 PM. Organizers said the weekend will feature live music, vendors, food, and activities open to the public.
A trivia run is scheduled to begin at 9:30 AM Saturday, followed by a live auction at 12:30 PM. The event is widely known for its auction, which organizers describe as “world-famous.”
The Burn Run serves as a major fundraiser for Camp I’m Still Me, which has supported young burn survivors since its founding in 1992. The camp provides a nurturing environment where children can take part in activities such as arts and crafts, swimming, and friendly competitions while building relationships with peers who have shared similar experiences.
“The goal is ensuring children who have suffered burns can ‘be a kid again,’” organizers said.
The Brother’s Keepers Motorcycle Club is a nonprofit organization dedicated to giving back to the community through charitable efforts. The Shreveport chapter has supported Camp I’m Still Me for nearly 25 years. In 2025, the group presented the camp with a $43,425 donation from proceeds raised during the event.
Registration for the Burn Run is $30 for a single rider or $55 for a rider and passenger. Participants may register online in advance or in person during the event. While the event is centered around motorcycles, organizers noted that cars, trucks, and boats are also welcome to participate.
Lake Bistineau State Park is located at 106 State Park Road in Doyline. Organizers encourage the public to attend and support the cause.
