The Columns of Germantown will host a free Elder Fraud Prevention Presentation on Wednesday, September 23, at 10 a.m. The event is open to residents, families and members of the public.
The presentation will feature Tracy Campbell, financial advisor with Meriwether Wealth & Planning, and Webster Parish Sheriff Jason Parker. Together, they will share information aimed at helping older adults and their families recognize potential fraud, protect their finances and make informed decisions when faced with suspicious activity.
As scams continue to become more sophisticated, education can be one of the most effective forms of protection. The presentation is intended to give attendees practical information while providing an opportunity to hear from professionals in both financial planning and law enforcement.
The event reflects The Columns’ commitment to serving not only its residents, but also older adults, caregivers and families throughout the community.
The presentation will be held at The Columns of Germantown, located at 619 Germantown Road in Minden. Attendance is free, and no residency with The Columns is required.
