Heather Feeback has officially announced her candidacy for the Webster Parish School Board, District 8, pledging to bring conservative values, strong leadership, transparency and a commitment to student success to the board.
A lifelong believer in the power of education and community involvement, Heather understands that our schools are the foundation of Webster Parish’s future. As a candidate, she is committed to listening to parents, supporting teachers, ensuring responsible financial stewardship and making decisions that always put students first. As the mother of a special needs child, she will advocate for accountability and better outcomes in special education services.
Professionally, Heather has more than a decade of leadership and administrative experience including several years in administrative roles in municipal government. She currently serves as the Office Manager for an oil and gas law firm. Her background in organizational leadership, budgeting, problem-solving and strategic planning has prepared her to serve the citizens of District 8 with integrity and accountability.
Outside of her career, Heather is married and together with her husband, they have four children; two sons and two daughters. She is also the proud “Sassy” to identical twin grandsons. Heather enjoys frequently volunteering in our community. She serves as the Executive Director of the Miss Minden Organization which produces an annual Miss Louisiana preliminary pageant that has been a tradition here in Minden for 74 years. She is Vice President of the Young Women’s Service Club that hosts Kids’ Day every year at the Minden St. Jude Fundraiser and their annual community Easter Bash. She is an active volunteer with Lama Animal Rescue, helping to rescue and improve the lives of homeless and neglected animals throughout our area.
Heather said, “As the parent of a special needs student and the sister and daughter of a teacher, I believe EVERY child deserves access to a quality education, EVERY teacher deserves support and respect and EVERY taxpayer deserves transparency and fiscal responsibility. We are seeing a shift in our political climate and I remain strong in my conservative values. I am running to be a voice for our families, our educators and our community.”
Heather respectfully asks for the support and vote of the citizens of District 8 in the upcoming election. Together, we can build stronger schools, stronger partnerships and a brighter future for every student in Webster Parish.
