Residents of Webster Parish and three other northwest Louisiana parishes are being asked to help prioritize transportation projects through the second round of public input for the region’s long-range transportation plan.
The Northwest Louisiana Council of Governments (NLCOG) is updating the Metropolitan Transportation Plan for Bossier, Caddo, DeSoto, and Webster parishes through an initiative called NWLA: Moving Forward.
The Round 2 survey is open through September 4 and allows residents to review specific transportation projects identified following the first round of public outreach and indicate which projects are most important to them.
According to NLCOG, feedback from the first-round survey was used to identify transportation projects for consideration in the plan. The current survey asks residents to help rank those projects, including projects involving roads, transit, and other mobility needs.

Additional opportunities for public input are expected as the long-range transportation plan continues to develop toward its 2050 horizon.
