Northwest Louisiana Technical Community College will offer an Emergency Medical Responder and Firefighter course beginning September 8 at its Minden campus, providing participants an opportunity to earn multiple emergency response certifications.
The course will run from September 8 through March 12, with classes held from 1-5 PM at NLTCC, 9500 Industrial Drive in Minden.
Participants will have the opportunity to become certified as an Emergency Medical Responder and earn Firefighter I and Firefighter II certifications. The program aligns with the Louisiana Department of Education Basic Bundle.
The course combines emergency medical and firefighter training to prepare participants with skills and certifications applicable to emergency response and fire service.
